# Hyperactive Members

## Hyperactive Member

As a Hyperactive Member you are part of the Management Team of Virtual Cinema Lab Research Group. You get to shape the yearly activities and choose new projects and members for VCL.

### How to join

* Fulfill the requirements of an [Active Member](/handbook/membership-types/active-members.md).
* Find a [management role](/handbook/internal-groups-and-featured-projects/internal-groups+featured-projects.md) you want to commit to and tell us about it.

### How to leave

* Make sure that your roles are being filled by another Hyperactive Member and you have made a proper handover.
* Send an informal request to [Anchor Group](/handbook/internal-groups-and-featured-projects/anchor-group.md) on Slack that you want to leave.

### What’s required (have to)

* Be available to answer questions from Supporting and Active Members.
* Attend the monthly [Anchor Group](/handbook/internal-groups-and-featured-projects/anchor-group.md) meetings in person.
* Take an active role in our [featured and internal projects](/handbook/internal-groups-and-featured-projects/internal-groups+featured-projects.md).

### What’s encouraged (would be nice)

* Build connections between VCL and other actors (stakeholders, academia, companies, professionals etc.)
* Share ideas on how to improve the [organization structure](/handbook/organization-structure.md) of VCL.
* Propose new [internal or featured projects](/handbook/internal-groups-and-featured-projects/internal-groups+featured-projects.md).
